Green Shepreneur Hub

Green Shepreneur Hub

The Shehersaaz Green Shepreneur Hub was established in January 2024, to provide a dedicated safe and decent space for women in Dhok Hassu to develop entrepreneurial skills and earn a sustainable income. The hub offers a platform where women learn and practice eco-friendly trades such as sand candle making, stitching canvas bags, compost making, block printing using Natural Dye, and more.

By empowering women with practical skills, the hub aims to promote economic growth, environmental sustainability, and decent work opportunities at the community level.

Community Women Training

Shehersaaz conducts training programs for women interested in urban farming, tailoring, candle making etc equipping them with the knowledge and skills necessary to maintain roof-top gardens, production of eco-friendly packaging and engaging them in agricultural entrepreneurship.

Market Access and Entrepreneurship Support

We connect urban women farmers with local markets and businesses to facilitate the sale and distribution of fresh produce. Additionally, we provide business development support to aspiring urban women farmers, empowering them to establish their agricultural enterprises and contribute to local economic growth. Skilled shepreneurs also showcase their work at various fairs and events.
